Good heavens. I think the appearance of an audience is also important. If you look nice, it shows that you cared enough about the event to take the time to get ready.Alliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18078641281130561797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-687046105579198192.post-80400295870121841442010-03-26T08:42:36.811-07:002010-03-26T08:42:36.811-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Karahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13383158599622489734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-687046105579198192.post-64698762864049332212010-03-25T22:46:14.343-07:002010-03-25T22:46:14.343-07:00This should be posted in theatre lobbies. I think that sometimes smaller theaters / shows have better audiences b/c they have to be sought out a little bit more.

I think that anyone who puts that time and energy into a production deserves praise for their hard work, even if you didn't like it.

BTW.. we go to ALL the High School plays here in our town. We don't know anyone there, but my kids love to go to plays and they are fun. Also, the actors are always really happy to talk to the kids afterwords. We view it like "JV playwatching". :-)Bekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02421106490759593190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-687046105579198192.post-3966406024640799712010-03-24T07:15:40.913-07:002010-03-24T07:15:40.913-07:00Here's my two cents: as a director, I probably...Here's my two cents: as a director, I probably don't want to hear your honest opinion of the show. So don't walk up and offer it. I'll ask if I want it. Otherwise, a solid "congratulations" or "good work" is enough. I know actors feel the same way. Your opinion is always more important to you than it is to anyone else.topher clarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13680856791698323760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-687046105579198192.post-14371396557678123062010-03-23T21:55:53.757-07:002010-03-23T21:55:53.757-07:00I just fell in love with you. Not only does it distract the actors on stage it bothers the people near you in the audience as well.Hannah Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09813612560660654932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-687046105579198192.post-23843117357570692792010-03-23T12:45:49.558-07:002010-03-23T12:45:49.558-07:00Thanks for this! Many students have had the prep you discussed, and it absolutely enhances the entire experience.
