Did everyone see my little brother on the Today Show this morning? Well, you can always YouTube it or something. Maroon5 performed and although I've seen them perform a million times, it's still exciting for me to see little James on that thar TV! He's so cute! If you don't know which one he is, he's the lead guitarist and we have the same long blonde hair (twinners!). . . But what is so funny to me is when the camera pans out to the audience and I get a look at all the cougars singing along: delightful! They will begin touring soon which is also exciting. They know how to put on a show, those boys! And they are releasing some singles before their album in September, which you should buy because they are catchy and really great to run/exercise/dance to. . .
(I would have put a picture of their new album cover, but I'm trying not to let my kids see it as long as possible. It's pretty, um, sexy.)
I know exactly which cougar you're talking about. . . dark hair, trying really hard to mouth the right words, and look sexy at the same time, but doing a terrible job.
ReplyDeleteLOVE James!
Simon is already walking around singing. . ."I am in misery. . ."
I did see them. And I was actually at the gym on the elliptical. I like the new single.
ReplyDeleteI watched it and immediately thought of you. So I guess in a way, YOU ARE famous because when some people see that group they think of you first. That was a great show, by the way.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for the new album! I've been waiting for them to play in London ever since we spoke about tickets on my last visit... I'm hoping the UK gets onto their tour list at some point!
ReplyDeleteI logged on here specifically to tell you I saw Maroon 5 on the Today Show this morning and they were Awesome. I had never listened to them until James bought the Ipods for Stephanie's kids and then I downloaded one of their albums (off ITunes, yes, I paid for it) :) and and I was hooked - so, yes. I will be buying the new album and I will exercise to it. Yes, I will. Walk, wash dishes, do laundry, chase toddlers - that is my exercise. So, thanks Lisa for the music hook up and thanks for being Totally Awesome in your own right. Can't go without checking in with you everyday - even though you don't know me. Is that creepy? If so, sorry. :) Amy from Oklahoma...... :)

ReplyDeleteI looked Maroon5 up! Cool! I have to tell you, when I discovered your blog via CJane, I smiled so big when I recognized both you and your husband from the Stalking Santa Movie! I love that movie! Have ya'll made any others?
ReplyDeleteHow fun that your brother is part of Maroon5. I love that band. Did you know they're big in Brazil? They are! Tell him to go do a concert there already.
ReplyDeleteLoved your guest post on Dear CJane and I think how you are kept all mysterious! I have always wanted to be that, anyway glad I found your blog, now its in my reader.

Misery was playing when I got out of the car. I wondered who the rockstar was, now I know. How exciting!
ReplyDeleteCougars kind of freak me out...
Ok, I responded to a post from MAY today. So I doubt you'll see it but I still want to know.... what was your topic at women's conference and what did you think about the ending of Lost? :)
ReplyDeleteAt Women's Conference my topic was "Don't Let the Digital Dominate Your Life" and I was very satisfied by the ending of Lost. I thought it was beautiful and life-affirming. I'm a sucker for a tv show that validates my belief in the ultimate goodness of individuals. . .
ReplyDeleteI think I might be catergorized as a cougar.
